Approving reimbursement requests doesn’t have to be a chore. With the right approach, it can be a straightforward and even rewarding process. This guide will walk you through the essentials of handling these requests efficiently and accurately, ensuring everything is in order and ready for approval. Let’s dive into making your reimbursement process as smooth as possible!
1. Log in to your Summit dashboard. On the sidebar, click on ‘Approvals’.
2. On the Approvals page, select the ‘Reimbursement’ tab to view all the reimbursement requests.
To approve the reimbursement request, you can use the three methods below:
(a) Using the ‘Approve’ button on the right side of the request list
(b) Using the bulk approval feature by clicking on the checkbox of each request you want to approve and clicking ‘Approve’ at the bottom right side.
(c) Click on the request you want to approve to see the details (such as the approval audit trail), and then click ‘Approve’ at the bottom.
Congratulations! Your reimbursement request has been successfully approved!
Note:
- If the approver rejects a specific request, they can now provide a rejection reason. This will help employees understand the rationale behind the rejection. Once a request is rejected, the employees can view it and click the edit button to resubmit it.
